Silicon Valley Eats: Dessert (1)
Rick's Ice Cream is everything that locals rave about. It's luscious, creamy, and handmade on-site in their micro-creamery. Although there aren't as many flavors as I'd like, the ones they have are true to their names. Mocha Almond Fudge strikes just the right balance, the coffee flavor doesn't overpower, and they don't skimp on the fudge or nuts. That said, I still love Lappert's Ice Cream in Hawaii the best. And Mondo Gelato still holds a special place in my heart with respect to frozen desserts. My husband's vote, though, is for this local Palo Alto favorite.
